The Bazaruto Archipalego

Is a spell-binding marine reserve encapsulating the islands of Bazaruto, Benguerra, Margaruque and Santa Carolhina. It is extensive and we go out of the reserve to fish or spearfish.

There are many shallow ledges and reefs to dive. With many pelagic fish to target. There are in fact so many fish that being selective is a priority. Shoot only what you really need on your bucket list. Or a big trophy.

Catsanova

This most beautiful and tailor-made liveaboard motor yacht is the best possible way to totally immerse yourself in the beauty of the Bazaruto Archipelago. In absolute comfort. Everything you could possibly need taken care of.

Sunrises and sunsets spent right on the water. Extraordinarily starry nights. Crystal clear warm water to the horizon. Many islands to explore and relax on.

Dugongs swim by at certain places. Dolphins and turtles travel all over. Even the odd shark might show up if you are lucky! There are fish to catch. Birds to watch and photograph.

Can sleep up to 8 people or so. With different sleeping configurations.

Catered trips are a great option…everything done for you…breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or self-cater, it’s up to you.

The RIB

The reserve is extensive, and we spear outside of the demarcated zone. The sleek RIB or speedboat, that comes with Catsanova opens your itinerary up wide. There are simply an overwhelming number of dive spots. And we need to get to all of them!

Coming back to Catsanova each time is pure luxury for spearos and anglers alike.

You can enjoy either the speedboat/RIB or Catasanova on their own if that is your requirement. Some trips are done with the RIB or speedboat coming out only for a few days, to meet Catsanova, to take divers out of the reserve.
